What is CI Digital?
CI Digital Program is a theoretical and practical training in digital integrated circuit design, specifically in the “front-end” area of developing digital integrated circuit architectures.
Our program aims to train up to 350 professionals in the microelectronics area, focusing on positioning the country as a competitive center for the development of high-complexity and high-value-added digital integrated circuit projects.
The main objectives of Digital IC are to:
Render technological training with national coverage aiming at practical and theoretical training in hardware description languages, simulation and design tools for the microelectronics area;
Train designers capable of working in the digital front end design market in the areas of microelectronics, materials, devices, equipment and advanced systems.
Program Structure and Localization
The program will be carried out at the facilities of the Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (Inatel), the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI), Instituto Hardware BR (HBR), the State University of Maranhão (UEMA), and the Centro de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Tecnológico em Informática e Eletroeletrônica de Ilhéus (CEPEDI).
Our training is an 18-month program that will be carried out as an evening course and will be divided into 3 phases of 6 months each. Phase 1 covers the basic training module, phase 2 presents the advanced module, while phase 3 provides residency experience in important industries in the microelectronics sector.
Program Benefits
Throughout the program, students will be awarded a scholarship of BRL 2,000 per month, so they may focus on the program.
Target Audience
CI Digital program is designed for professionals with a bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Engineering and related areas. Also, for students who have attended at least 70% of their respective degree programs.
