Hands-On Training in Microelectronics with a focus on Digital "Front-End"
Our CI Digital program offers theoretical and practical training in microelectronics, specifically in the “front-end” area of developing digital integrated circuit architectures.
It is an immersion program designed to train highly qualified professionals in microelectronics, equipping them to work in any company within the sector, given the high demand for professionals in this field.
To achieve this, the program is structured into 3 phases.
Program Phases
PHASE 1
presents the basic module of microelectronics training, introducing microelectronics concepts, learning hardware description languages (HDL), and simple digital circuits.
PHASE 2
involves the development of a project using the concepts introduced in Phase 1, implementing a RISC-V microarchitecture, and performing synthesis and verification of integrated circuits.
PHASE 3
will include a residency period in microelectronics companies, allowing program students to enter the job market. Alternatively, for students who are already employed or unable to participate in the residency, Phase 3 can be validated by completing a final project, in which the student must develop a project involving the creation of intellectual property (IP).
Program Format and Duration
The training program will be carried out as an evening course over 18 months, divided into 3 phases of 6 months, where each phase consists of 400h.
During all phases, students enrolled in the program will receive a scholarship.
Target Audience
Individuals with a background or currently studying in microelectronics or related fields.
